Leland E. King

Leland E. King, 94, of Idaville, passed away on November 27, 2024, at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was born July 22, 1930, in Latimore Township, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Roy William King and Pauline Catherine (Prosser) King.

He graduated from York Springs High School in May 1948. Leland worked 42 years at the Mount Holly Springs Specialty Paper Mill.

Leland is survived by his wife of 74 years, Joyce (Weiser) King, of Gardners; sons, Eric E. King, and wife Kelly of Mechanicsburg and Joel W. King, and wife Betsy of Raleigh, NC; step-grandchildren, Stephanie Heffernan and husband, Matt and Megan Raymond and husband, Alex and 4 step-great-grandchildren.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville, where Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until time of memorial service. Rev. Richard Reese will officiate the service.
