Leo J. Finn, Jr., age 81 of Gettysburg, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at his home. He was born Tuesday, November 22, 1932 in Baltimore, the son of the late Leo J. and Margaret T. (White) Finn, Sr. Lee graduated from Westminster High School in 1951. He was formerly employed by Gettysburg Hospital as the Plant Operations director for 20 years. He was a member of Ira E. Lady American Legion Post 262 in Biglerville, a Life member of VFW Post 15 in Gettysburg, Fairfield AmVets Post 172 and Gettysburg Eagles Lodge 1562. Lee was an avid Nascar fan; his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War from 1951-1954. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nancy J. (Black) Finn. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Judy B. and husband Tony Showers of Gardners, brother-in-law, Timothy J. Black of South Mountain and several nieces and nephews. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 13 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wenksville United Methodist Church, 2010 Wenksville Road, Biglerville, PA 17307.
