Lester Clyde Hoch, Jr., age 61 of Shippensburg, PA passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was born July 5, 1961 in Chambersburg, PA to the late Lester Clyde Hoch, Sr and Edna V. (Holtry) Hoch.
Lester was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor for Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle PA. He was a member of The American Legion Post #223 where he was a bartender and a cook and the Minnequa Social Club 375, Shippensburg. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor yardwork and watching football.
Surviving is a daughter, Ashley M. Hoch and companion Michael R. Haley of North Wales, PA, Son, Adam P. Hoch of Shippensburg, PA, four sisters and four brothers, Beatrice V. Shoemaker of Shippensburg, PA, Vera M. Jones of Tennessee, Ruth A. Hockenberry of Shippensburg, William L. Hoch, Newburg, PA, Richard L. Hoch of Shippensburg, Carol J. Stoner of Chambersburg, PA, Ronald L. Hoch of Shippensburg, Robert W. Hoch of Newburg, PA, one grandson, Wyatt A. Haley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Paul Leroy Hoch and Jeffrey E. Hoch.
Professional Services are entrusted to the Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, PA 17257. There will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 11:00AM – 12:00PM at the Lurgan United Brethren Church, 7900 Roxbury Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Art Page officiating. Burial will be made in Lurgan Cemetery, Shippensburg, PA.
