Levato D. Thomas

Levato D. Thomas, age 86 of Aspers, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Golden Living in Gettysburg. She was born Thursday, May 19, 1927 in Tyrone Township, Adams County, the daughter of the late Daniel E. and Ethel J. (Peters) Delap. Levato graduated from Biglerville High School in 1946. She was homemaker most of her life. She was an active member of Heidlersburg United Brethren in Christ Church and was very active in the Heidlersburg Fire Company. Levato's neighbors will miss her daily walks and visits. Her husband, Francis J. Thomas died in 1984. Several nieces, nephews and cousins survive her. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 14 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Craig Loewen officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heidlersburg Fire Company, 2720 Heidlersburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or the Heidlersburg United Brethren in Christ Church, 2736 Heidlersburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
