Linda J. Haning

Linda G. Haning, 73, of Shippensburg, PA passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026 at her residence.

She was born November 21, 1952 in Tampa, FL, the daughter of the late Johnny Johnson and Alice (Wilson) Johnson.

Linda was a loving mother, and wife. She spent her life making sure her children were loved and happy. My mom was a BIG dog lover and Maple, her 70lb pit terrier was her best friend the last 3 years of her life. Mom didn’t think she would like have a Pitbull type of dog, but the instant she met Maple she was in love. I have so many wonderful memories of my mom that I will cherish the rest of my life. Mom was loved by so many people during her time on earth, now that she has moved on, she will be missed more then she could ever know. I know for myself there will never be a day I don’t think about her, cry because I miss her and tell her how much I love her. I will end with “Mom thank you for being a wonderful mother, teaching me how to be a good man, and loving me with all your heart!”

Linda is survived by her son Michael Henry and his fiancé Phoebe Nguyen, her sister Patti Pine and six grandchildren Tiffany Stallard, Mikalya Henry, Joshua Henry, Michael Henry, Nathan and Steven and by three great-grandchildren Sage Alvarez, Ember Vulatic and Regina Vulatic.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Ronda Henry, a brother Ronald Johnson, and two sisters Doris Perry and Susan Johnson, and her grandson Anthony Alvarez.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
