Lisa D. Showaker

Lisa D. Showaker, age 44 of Bendersville, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at her home. She was born Thursday, December 30, 1971 in Indiana, PA, the daughter of Dan Mansell of Strongstown, PA and the late Bonnie Jamison Mansell. Lisa graduated from Penn's Manor High School. She received her Bachelor's in Business Management from Indian University of PA. She was formerly employed by The Business Journal for Cumberland Co. for several years. She attended Zion United Church of Christ in Arendtsville. She was a very good artist and loved to draw in pencil. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Kevin R. Showaker. She is also survived by her son, Brady M. Showaker at home and her brother, Chris Mansell of Brookville. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 4 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Kim Blocher officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 393, Bendersville, PA 17306 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
