Lois A. Shafer

Lois A. Shafer,age 74 of Gardners, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle. She was born Monday, January 6, 1941 in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Norman and Verna (Scheffer) Howe. She was employed by McCoy Electronics and Knouse foods. She was a member of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Shafer, Sr., a son, Robert S. Shafer, Jr., two brothers, Charles and Donald Howe and a sister, Barbara Howe. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 20 at Dugan Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Fanus officiating. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until time of services. Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
