Louis W. Anderson

Louis Willett Anderson, age 72, of Shippensburg, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born June 4, 1951 in Hoboken, New Jersey, as the son of the late Louis F. and Eleanor (Willett) Anderson.

Louis served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War and was awarded many medals. Louis had accomplished many jobs such as a butcher, brick layer, police officer and an armed security guard.

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Cindy I. (Eslinger) Anderson of Shippensburg; two daughters, Lysa Wilds of Arizona and Melissa Larance and her husband, Frank of Arizona; step-son, Edward Megonnell and his fiancé, Shannon of Halifax, PA; many grandchildren; sister, Karol of Shippensburg and brother, John Anderson of New Jersey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Anderson.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services are at the discretion of the family.
