Louise M. Miller

Louise Mae (Rice) Miller, age 83, of York Springs died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born Tuesday, August 2, 1927 in Aspers, the daughter of the late Roy E. and Mae (Starner) Rice . Louise was employed by Duffy Mott Company in Aspers for eight years. She was also employed by Smith's Market in York Springs and Weiser's Fruit Stand. She was a member ofFoursquare Gospel Church in Gettysburg. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Melvin L. Miller, two daughters: Sandy L. and herhusband Roger McGlaughlin of York Springs, Vickie A. and her husband David Myers of York Springs; a son: Rick L. and his wife Mary Miller of New Oxford; a sister, Lois Groscost of Gettysburg; nine grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Rice and a sister, Opal Bollinger. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am onThursday, April 14 at the Foursquare Gospel Church, 328 W. Middle Sreet, Gettysburg with Reverend Mark Chester officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bendersville and also on Thursday in the church from 9:30 am until time of services.
