Lucious Boone, Jr.

Lucious Boone, Jr., age 89 of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was born Tuesday, August 3, 1926 in Evergreen, AL, the son of the late Lucious Sr. and Annie Boone. He enjoyed singing Gospel songs, playing his harmonica and loved to attend church. He is survived by his three sisters: Pinkie L. Statum of Chambersburg, Vinie May Baker of Wewahitchka, Florida and Ethel May Wallace of Lamont, Florida and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers: Timothy, Ervin, Charles, Eddie and Willie and one sister Clara. Professional services are being entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 19 at 1:00 PM at the Greater Good News Church, 601 South Main Street Chambersburg, PA 17201. A viewing will be held from 12:00 until the time of the service at the Church. Bishop Edgar L. Scott will be officiating. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
