Mahlon R. Diller

In loving memory of Mahlon R. Diller, age 92 of Shippensburg, PA. Mahlon passed away on September 26, 2025 at Mennonite Fellowship Home, Hagerstown, MD.

He was born August 15, 1933 at Mason-Dixon, PA to Amos and Fannie (Risser) Diller. He was a building contractor for 30 years and was associated with Christian Aid Ministries in VS work for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma J. (Crider) Diller, by two and a half years. They were married June 26, 1954 and are survived by five daughters and one son; Sheryl (Elias) Lahdu of Shippensburg, Wilma (Harlin) Hege of Shippensburg, Joy (Dallas) Martin of Shippensburg, Karla (Arlin) Wadel of Shippensburg, Brenda (Clyde) Lehman of Chambersburg, M. Roger (Erin) Diller of Bagley, MN and 36 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Eunice Petre and Esther Martin and a sister-in-law, Janet Crider. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Lynn Martin, 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10am at Rowe Mennonite Church, 754 Pinola Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257. The family will receive friends at Rowe Mennonite Church on Thursday, October 2 from 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm. There will also be viewing from 9:00am until time of funeral service on Friday.
