Marcus Daniel Carey

Marcus Daniel Carey, age 47, of York, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at his home in York. He was born October 15, 1977 in York, PA, as the son of Larry Jay Carey and Patricia Jane (Mooney) Carey.

Marcus graduated in the Class in 1996 from York Suburban High School and from York County Technical School. In his spare time, Marcus enjoyed watching movies, and singing karaoke with his twin brother.

In addition to his parents, Marcus is survived by his twin brother, Michael Carey of York and his older brother, Stephen Carey of Nashville, TN. Marcus was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Interment will be private and at the family’s discretion. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM at York First Church of the Brethren, 2710 Kingston Road, York, PA 17402.
