Margaret A. Carriero

Margaret A. Carriero, age 89 of Shippensburg, died peacefully while surrounded by family, on Sunday morning, September 12, 2010at her home. She was born on July 2, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY and was thedaughter of the late John and Mary (Young)Ryan. Margaret lived in New Jersey and central Florida before moving to Shippensburg with her daughter-in-law, Rita. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel T.Carriero in 1989 and her son Daniel A. Carriero in 2001. In addition to her daughter-in-law, Rita she is survived by seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 16th at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, 305 North Prince Street, Shippensburg with Reverend Father David A. Hillier officiating.A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until time of services at the church. Entombment will be on Friday, September 17th at 1:15 PMin Garden of Memories, Washington Township, Bergen County, New Jersey.
