Margaret M. Eckrich

Margaret M. Eckrich, age 92, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Green Ridge Village, Newville, PA. She was born December 24, 1929 in Carlisle, PA to the late Richard Wayne and Helen G. (Shover) Kelly.

Margaret was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of ‘47. She was co-owner of Eckrich Antiques in Shippensburg with her late husband John. Margaret enjoyed camping, fishing, baking and trips to the casino with her husband John. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed the holidays together.

Surviving are three sons, John A. Eckrich, III of Jacksonville, FL, Lester E. Rockey and his wife Cathy of Swanton, VT, Terry D. Eckrich and his wife Maria of Shippensburg, three daughters, Deborah L. Crusey of Chambersburg, Linda K. Perry and her husband Tim of Shippensburg, Susan M. Ott and her husband Eric of Shippensburg, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 75 years, John A. Eckrich, Jr., who died on November 10, 2022, her son, Ronald L. Eckrich, two brothers, Clarence and Kenneth Kelly and her sister, Dorothy Bear.

Professional Services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory. A Viewing, alongside her husband, will be held on Wednesday, November 16 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, PA 17257. A Procession will take place to Parklawns Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Margaret to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
