Margaret J. Ashlin

Margaret J. Ashlin, 75 of Chambersburg, PA died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born Friday, April 2, 1937 in Lenoir, NC the daughter of the late Danand Lula (Pennell) Wheatley. She was a devoted loving wife and mother. She was a friend to all she met. Her love touched many lives. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Sandra A. and husband Rev. Robert Wiles, North Wilkesboro, NC; two sons: Kenneth W. and wife Colleen Ashlin, Chambersburg, and Ricky E. Ashlin, Oceanside, CA; a half-sister, Helen Porter, CA, a half-brother, Jerry Wheatley, Caldwell County, NC, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas H. Ashlin in 1996, their son, Tommy D. Ashlin and a sister, Mary Ashlin. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg where friends and family are invited to a viewing from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 13. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 16 at Reins - Sturdivant Funeral Home, North Wilkesboro, NC with Reverend Robert Wiles officiating. A viewing will precede the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park, North Wilkesboro, NC.
