Margaret "Peg" P. Hippensteel

Margaret "Peg" P. (Burkholder) Hippensteel, age 72, of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Shippensburg Healthcare Center. She was born Friday, July 16, 1943 in Spring Run, the daughter of the late Harvey and Lena (Parson) Burkholder. Peg attended Fannett Metal High School. She was formerly employed by Towne Cleaners, RS Dress Factory, U-Wanna Wash Frock Company, L'Aiglon Apparel and G S Electric. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald L. Hippensteel. She is also survived by daughters, Bobbi Sue Norcross and husband Ralph of Chambersburg, Lee Ann Watson and husband Frank of Jefferson, TX, son, Timmy E. Burkholder and wife Tawnya of Shippensburg, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, three sisters, Loretta O'Donnell, Doylesburg, Betty Bechtal, Scotland, Nancy Herlt, Newville, two brothers, Harvey "Butch" Burkholder and John Burkholder, Spring Run. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 18 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend Derek Wadlington officiating. A viewing will precede, beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, Carlisle.
