Margaret E. Worthington

Margaret E. Worthington, age 72 of Newville, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at her home. She was born Sunday, May 21, 1944 in Chambersburg, the child of the late John Bernard and Beulah Benetta (Hancock) Shriner. Margaret was employed by Orweco Frocks in Shippensburg, but loved nothing more than the time she spent with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Linda L. Carr of Newville, Emma Jane Rattenni of Carlisle, a son, Fredrick J. Worthington, II, Newville, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild. Margaret is also survived by three sisters, Iva Shriner, of Chambersburg, Esta Finkey of Shippensburg and Becky Jimbo of Riverdale, FL, and three brothers, Harvey Shriner, Dennis Shriner, and Richard Shriner, all of Shippensburg. She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Bertha Worthington, brothers, John Shriner and William Shriner and her sister, Ada Russell. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held on her birthday, Sunday, May 21 at 2:00 PM at her home.
