Margo Marie Westcott, age 64, of Shippensburg died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born Saturday, January 18, 1947 in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late Leonand Shirley (Brisco) Westcott. Margo graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1964. She graduated in 1987 with a degree in Office Technology from Hagerstown Business College in Hagerstown, MD. She was employed by Letterkenny Army Depot for 17 years and then First Data in Hagerstown where she was an Outstanding Performance Award winner several times. She was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church in Chambersburg where she was a member of the Gospel Choir, President of the Christian Education Department and a member of the Steward Board and a Sunday School Teacher. She later became a member of Believers Fellowship Temple Worship Center, where she received certificates for completing the New Old Testament courses. Margo also received her license to work as a Minister from the Believer's Global Ministries. She later left Believer's Fellowship and started attending Unity in Christ Church. She is survived by her stepmother, DaRue Westcott and two aunts, Thelma Wells and Laura Taylor, all of Chambersburg and numerous cousins. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held Saturday May 21 at 3:00 PM at Unity in Christ Church, 2175 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg. Reverend Dr. Lois A. Waters will officiate.A visitation will be held from 2:30 until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton Heights Elementary School, 3rd Grade, 1589 Johnson Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
