Marguerite E. Rex

Marguerite E. Rex, age 86 of Aspers, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at Transitions HealthCare in Gettysburg. She was born Monday, August 18, 1930 in Gardners a daughter of the late Sterling P. and Freda (Meals) Shafer. Marguerite graduated from Biglerville High School. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband Keith with the family farm. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Her husband Keith E. Rex passed June 6, 2015. She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Gore of Westminster, MD, four sons, David K. and wife Anna Mae Rex of Gardners, Garry O. Rexand Michael C. Rex both of Aspers, Dwight A. Rex of York Springs, five step-granddaughters, eight step-great-granddaughters, four step-great-grandsons, one step-great-great-grandson, two sisters, Marion Cline of New Oxford, Naomi Snyder of Georgia and one brother, Robert Shafer of Gardners. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, July 28, 2017 at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville with Reverend Gary Fanus officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of services.
