Marion S. Black, age 91 of Biglerville, died Monday, September 3, 2012 ather home.She was born Monday, July 18, 1921 in Menallen Township, Adams County, the daughterof the late Charles C. and Rosie E. (Starner) Starner. Marion and her husband, Roy, owned and operated their family farm for morethan 50 years. She was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church,Women's Aid Society of the Church, Ladies Auxiliary of Bendersville Fire Companyand the Pennsylvania Farmers Association Her husband Roy H. Black died in 1994. She is survived by two daughters: Terri E. and husband Jeff A. Lebo of SchuylkillHaven and Karen M. and husband Floyd Armolt of York; one son: Barry L. and wife Janie Black of Biglerville; seven grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her beloved dog,Springer.She was preceded in death by three sisters: BerthaMurtoff, Ethel Fetters, BeulahHewitt and seven brothers: Grover, James,Howard, Roland, Richard,Clyde and Ralph Starner. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM onFriday, September 7 at Wenksville United Methodist Church, 2010Wenksville Road, Biglerville with Reverend James R. Speelmanofficiating.Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday, September 6 from7:00 to 9:00 PM. A viewing will also be held at the church on Friday from 10:00 AMuntil time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924 Colonial Avenue,York, PA 17403.
