Marlane A. Baker, age 61 of Gardners, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Yok Hospital. She was born Thursday, April 26, 1951 in East McKeesport, the daughter of the late John and Grace E. (Serena) Stecker. Marlane graduated from the Career Academy in Washington D.C. as a dental technician. She had been employed by Golden Living in Gettysburg for 7 years as a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband, cooking, gardening and her dogs, Lillie and Pooh. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Tony L. Baker. She is also survived by a daughter, Kimberly L. Kumler of Dillsburg, a son, Richard E. Stewart of New Cumberland, one grandson Kevin G. Kumler and one granddaughter Alexa N. Kumler. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Stecker. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday, July 31, at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Randall Huber officiating. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until time of services.
