Marshall L. Plank

Marshall L. Plank, Sr., age 78, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his home in Biglerville surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sunday, June 4, 1939 in Arendtsville, the son of the late Roy Landon, Sr. and Mary (Kauffman) Plank. He worked for A.D. Frey, Inc. in Hanover for over 35 years as a truck driver. He was awarded for having over 2 million miles of safe driving. He cherished golfing with his family. Marshall was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Bill Elliot of Nascar. He loved his grandchildren, nieces and nephews more than anything and cherished spending every moment with them. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy L. Plank, son, Marshall L. "Butch" Plank, Jr. of Biglerville, grandchildren, Jason Marshall Plank (Tamar Klaiman) of Glenside and Matthew Ross Plank of Warner Robins, GA, great-grandchildren, Abraham Marshall Plank, Ella Naomi Plank, Matthew Chase Plank and Madison Grace Plank. He is also survived by his sister, Barb Hostetter of York Springs and brothers, Kenneth, Dallas and Elmer. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Baker, his brothers, Merle, Roy, Wayne and Fred. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9 at the Benders Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1385 Rentzel Road, Biglerville with Pastor Timothy Seitz-Brown officiating.
