Martha M. Sillik

Martha M. Sillik, age 78 of Aspers, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Gettysburg Hospital. She was born Saturday, March 8, 1941 in Snyder, Co, the daughter of the late Max and Eleanor T. (Long) Shreve. Martha was a homemaker most of her life. She attended Mt. Olivet U.B. Church in Guernsey. In her younger years, she enjoyed sewing and playing music on the piano. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald F. Sillik. She is also survived by one daughter, Regina M. and husband Bob Toner of Aspers, one son, James W. and wife Michelle Sillik of Gettysburg, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Grace Himes and Ruth Taylor both of Biglerville, two brothers, Wilmer Shreve of Bendersville and Arthur Shreve of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Esther Baker and Naomi Miller and six brothers, Robert, Howard, Joseph, Larry, Richard and Max, Jr. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. At Martha's request, there will be no services.
