Suzie Taylor

Martha “Suzie” Taylor, age 75, of Bendersville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born September 26, 1949, in Mechanicsburg, as the daughter of the late Robert Z. Starry and Esther M. Taylor.

She was a caring, thoughtful and fun mother and grandmother. Suzie is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Clyde R. Taylor; three daughters, Lorie Taylor; Tina Mentzer and her husband, Lonnie; and Wendy Saylor; four grandchildren: Brad, Brady, Natalie and Olivia and her husband, Cameron; sister, Molly Hoffer and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Suzie was preceded in death by her brother, John Starry.

Suzie graduated from Biglerville High School. She worked many years for Kime’s Cider Mill and Daltile. She was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church where she coordinated fundraisers, played piano and helped with the children’s Sunday school classes. In her spare time, Suzie enjoyed her many friendships, crafting, volunteering at the Church and in the community, and helping others.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Following Suzie’s wishes, Private Memorial Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
