Marvel E. Plank

Marvel E. Plank, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Hanover Hospital. She was born December 24, 1932, a daughter of the late J. Benjamin and Lovina (Myers) Black. Marvel was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Biglerville American Legion Post #262. Her career spanned for over 20 years with Continental Ceramics and Pfaltzgraff. She married Wayne A. Plank on May 27, 1950. She is survived by her daughters, Carol E. Miller (Stephen) of Gardners, Susan L. Kuykendall (Roy) of Biglerville, Linda K. Kasic of Hanover, Sharon A. Hawbaker (George) of Hanover, Gail L. Sterner (David) of Curwensville and Jeannine Wentz (Matthew) of Spring Grove, thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. Plank, siblings, Janet, Wayne, Robert, Maybelle, Richard and Yvonne, son-in-law, George Kasic and grandson, Michael Patterson. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 19 at Dugan Funeral Home in Bendersville.
