Mary Anna Sheaffer

Mary Anna Sheaffer age 89, formerly of Biglerville died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville. She was born Sunday, August 26, 1923 in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late Guy H. and Vertie A. (Bream) Little. Mary was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church and the True Sayers Sunday School Class. Her husband, Richard D. Sheaffer, Sr. died in 1976. She is survived by her daughter, Vertie Jane Unger of Fairfield; two sons: Garry L. Sheaffer of Gettysburg and Ray David Sheaffer of Biglerville; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Jean Reese of East Berlin. She was preceded in death by four sons: Eugene, Roy, Richard and Guy Sheaffer; three sisters: Nancy Sentz, Ruth Brady and Gladys Warner; and a brother, Denton E. Little. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 21, at Dugan Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bendersville with Reverend James R. Speelman officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery.A viewing will be held Wednesday, March 20 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of services.
