Mary Louise Kuntz

Mary Louise (Hollabaugh) Kuntz, 96, passed away peacefully at home, October 7, 2025.

She was born July 8, 1929, daughter of Jacob Pierce (J.P) and Beulah Mae (Group) Hollabaugh.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall, who died in 2007, to whom she was married for 57 years. Also, brothers William, George, Donald, and Harold; and sisters, Martha and Ruth.

Mary graduated from Biglerville High School in 1947. She was head cook at Bendersville Elementary School for several decades, incorporating her exceptional cooking skills, preparing healthy, nutritious, close to home cooked meals for the children and teachers, all of whom she loved.

She instilled in all of her family, and others, by word as well as by example, the truest sense of family values, unconditional love, caring and compassion.

She is survived by two sons, Dwight of Gardners and Mark of Aspers; four grandchildren, Drew (Jennifer) Kuntz of York, Emily (Ryan) Sanders of Hershey, Mattie (Ben) Wetzel of Biglerville, Celine (Lee) Wilkinson of Biglerville; eight great grandchildren, Olivia Kuntz, Casey and Lindsey Sanders, Leah, Annie, and Kate Wetzel, and Bode and Maci Wilkinson.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Interment will be private at the discretion of the family.
