Mary Lou Crushong

Mary Lou Crushong, age 75 of Biglerville passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at York Hospital. She was born Thursday, October 26, 1939 in Franklin Township, Adams County, the daughter of the late Seymour and Minnie R. (Black) Kuykendall. Mary graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1958. Before her retirement, she was employed by the Gettysburg Times for 40+ years. She was a member of Upper Adams Senior Citizens, Ira E. Lady American Legion Post 262 in Biglerville, Moose of Gettysburg, Eagles of Gettysburg, Adams County Fish and Game, Upper Adams Jaycees and Upper Adams Red Hats. She is survived by two sons, Nolan S. Huffaker of Biglerville and Robert S. and wife Linda Huffaker of Dallastown; three grandchildren, Christine M. Huffaker of Pittsburgh, Eric N. Huffaker of TX and Kelly M. Hake of Dallastown and one brother, Edward Kuykendall of Gardners. She was preceded in death by her son, John S. Huffaker who passed in 1963. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. A viewing and celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, March 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home. Private interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery at the discretion of the family.
