Mary C. Plank

Mary C. Plank, 89, of Gettysburg, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. Born on April 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Blaine and Margaret Bollinger Shindledecker. Mary dedicated many years of her life serving as a certified nurse's aide, providing compassionate care to those in need. She also enjoyed sewing and making crafts.

Mary is survived by three sisters, Beverly Lowe and her husband, Guy, Doris Fox and her husband, Robert, and Mary Jo Wanner; one grandson, David Plank; one granddaughter, Dana Baker; and three great-grandsons, Johnathon N. Plank, Hunter Plank, and Christian Hernandez. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Merle E. Plank; and one son, Merle E. Plank Jr.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street in Bendersville. No services will be held at this time.
