Mary Anne Weaver

Mary Anne Weaver, age 74 of Bendersville, died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at SpiriTrust Nursing Home in Gettysburg. She was born Saturday, February 1, 1941 in Little Valley, Huntingdon County, the daughter of the late John and Nevada (Thomas) Bollman. Mary graduated from Liberty High School in Saxton. She worked in various positions at Colt Firearms to waitressing and working in the food industry and finished her career at Walmart in Gettysburg. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Gettysburg Ward. She was also past president of the Biglerville Garden Club. Mary loved to host dinner parties, cook, can fruits and vegetables, bake bread and make jellies. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Benjamin N. Weaver, Sr. She is also survived by three daughters, Juanita Hess of NY, Tracy K. Barrs of MD, Michelle Weaver of Louisville, KY; four sons, Steven Hess of Saxton, Kenneth Hess of Blazeville, NY, John Hess of Denver, CO, Benjamin N. Weaver, Jr. of Gettysburg; twenty-one grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Ruth Tedrow of Saxton, Nevada "Pete" Ruby of Youngstown,OH, Hannah McKnight of Broad Top, Sally Hess of Cassville, Elsie Gates of Dudley, Ethel Ford of Todd, Margaret Cornelius of Saxton and a brother, Joseph Bollman of Quakertown. She was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Paul Bollman and one sister, Dolly Duval. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday October 28 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 1710 Kohler Mille Road, New Oxford with Bishop Bruce Buxton officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 1:00 PM until time of services.
