Mattie Mae Turner

Mattie Mae Turner, age 72 of Gardners, died on Monday, January 6, 2014 at York Hospital. She was born Wednesday, July 9, 1941 in Fort Valley, GA, the daughter of the late Manlockey and Jimmy Lee Murf. Mattie was formerly employed by Rice Fruit Company for 36 years. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Weldon Turner and a daughter, Theodosha Murf of FL, one step-son, Willie Dixon and four grandchildren, a sister, Nettie Mae Blue of Miami, FL and a brother, Sammy Lee Jackson of Miami. She was preceded in death by a sister, Fannie Jackson and two brothers, Willie Frank William and Felder William. Cremation services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville.
