Maurice E. West

Maurice "Moze" E. West, age 61, of Shippensburg, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home. He was born Tuesday, July 31, 1951 in Cleveland, OH, the son of the late Harry M. and Edna C. (Holtry) West. He was formerly employed by Letterkenny Army Depot for 30 years.He was a member of VFW of Shippensburg. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His wife, Richel B. West to whom he was married for five years, survives him.He is also survived by daughter, Kira J. West of Bozeman, MT, stepdaughter, Joyce P. Buhano of Shippensburg; and a sister, Margaretta Rosenberry of Harrisburg. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 12 at 2:00 pm at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Steve Fleming officiating. Military honors will be provided by Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168 and American Legion Post 223. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until time of services.
