Michael "Mike" William Sandoe

Michael “Mike” William Sandoe, age 65, of Gettysburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at his home in Gettysburg. He was born April 23, 1959 in Gettysburg, as the son of the late Sereck J. and Loretta B. (Butler) Sandoe.

Michael attended the Class of 1978 from Biglerville High School. After high school Michael served in the Pennsylvania National Guard. Most of his life, Mike worked as a cross-country truck driver. He later retired from Lazer Spot Distribution Company after working as a Fork Lift Operator. He was a past member of the American Legion Post 262 in Biglerville and Gettysburg Eagles Aerie #1562. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery, watching sprint car racing and riding motorcycles.

Michael is survived by his loving daughter, Haley Sandoe and her husband, Josh Lenardos of Gaithersburg, MD; two grandsons, Zeland and Rhodes Lenardos; two sisters, Melissa Sandoe of Biglerville and Debra McCauslin of Gettysburg and two nephews, Justin McCauslin of Shippensburg and Sereck Griffin of Biglerville. In addition to parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Leighann Sandoe.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville.
