Michael Doyle Wolfe, age 80 of Aspers, entered Gods loving embrace on November 18, 2025. Born on April 16, 1945, in Grafton, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Willard Wolfe and Agnes (Shaffer) Wolfe. His youth was spent living in the area of Dundalk, Maryland, graduating from Dundalk High School Class of 1963. He played the position of pitcher for the high school baseball team.

Michael retired from Knouse Foods in Biglerville, serving as boiler technician for apple production. While there, he gained friendships with many coworkers that continued well after retirement. Michael was a Vietnam War Veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He served as a STG2 Sonar Technician on the USS William V. Pratt (DLG-13, 1965-1969) and the USS Davis (DD 937, 1969). While serving on the USS Pratt, Michael was lead singer for the ship's rock band, The Lower Sound, performing on board and in numerous ports of call.

Michael loved baseball, especially his hometown team, the Baltimore Orioles. His love of golf was a sport he also enjoyed with friends and family. Michael loved music and could usually be heard singing along to tunes of the 60's and 70's. A true car enthusiast, he loved muscle cars, especially Mustangs. Above all, Michael cherished time spent traveling with his wife to visit his Navy shipmates at the annual USS Pratt Reunions, weekends in Lancaster for music concerts and dinner theater, shopping and dining trips, and visiting family at the Shaffer Family Reunions in Bridgeport, WV. Michael's faith was an important part of his life and he looked forward to his Heavenly reward. He lived daily with Parkinsons with true grace and acceptance as part of his earthly journey, knowing a full eternal life lie ahead.

Michael is survived by his wife of 15 years, Deana (Gochenour) Wolfe. Together they share five children, Kevin M. Wolfe (Briska) Cape Coral, FL, Christopher D. Wolfe (Robyn) Shippensburg, Jonathan O. Wolfe (Tori) Hanover, Holly J. Basmajian (Christopher) Dillsburg, W. David Reese, IV (Tabitha) Dillsburg; two sisters, Phyllis Lawson (Larry) Apex, NC and Karen Hoffman (Wayne) Dundalk, MD; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer (Stover) Wolfe and a great-granddaughter, Harley McKenna.
