Mildred G. Guise

Mildred "Sis" G. Guise, age 79 of Aspers, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at SpiriTrust Lutheran Home in Gettysburg. She was born Monday, November 8, 1937 in Aspers, the daughter of the late Roy David and Pearl A. (Bricker) Guise. She was employed by United Telephone Company, now known as CenturyLink, for 37 years as a telephone operator, business administrator and auditor. She was formerly employed with Dr. James Spurtzel. She is survived by two sisters, Miriam Crouse and Marian Guise, brother, Robert Guise, niece, Dawn (Dwayne) Keene and nephew, Lance (Dawn) Crouse. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Keith Crouse. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 6, at the Heidlersburg Church of United Brethren in Christ, 2736 Heidlersburg Road, Gettysburg with Reverend Craig Loewen and Reverend Murray Stevens officiating. A viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 5 at the church. Interment will be in Flohr's Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
