Mildred M. Yeager

Mildred “Millie” M. Yeager, passed away on June 12, 2024 at Transitions Health Care in Gettysburg, PA. She was 79 years of age. She was born on January 12, 1945 in Baltimore, MD. Millie was the daughter of the late John H. and Mildred M. (Bell) Koch.

Millie worked for Quality Inn in Gettysburg, PA in the housekeeping department before her retirement. She enjoyed canning and would share her extras with her family and friends. Her favorite foods were pickles and stewed tomatoes. She was an active leader with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scout Troop #116 of Uriah Methodist Church in Gardners, PA. Millie will be fondly missed and remembered by her family as a loving wife, caring mother, a sister, a grandmother and a great-grandmother.

Mildred is survived by three children and two step-children; daughter, Patricia Young and her husband, Jake, sons, David Yeager, Richard Yeager and his special life partner Sheila; step-children Valerie Gardner and her husband, Carey, and Raymond Yeager, Jr. and his wife Mary Don; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Harry Koch, and her sisters Evelyn Shindledecker and Doris Wade. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Yeager, Sr., her step-daughter, Tracy Yeager and her brothers, John, Paul and Bernard Koch.

Professional Services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date by the family.
