Miriam A. Kime, age 87, formerly of Biglerville, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg. she was Born Friday, April 25, 1930 in York Springs, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary E. (Fickle) Kime. Miriam graduated from York Springs High School in 1948. She was employed by C.H. Musselman and Knouse Foods in Biglerville for many years, where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Heidlersburg. She was a member of York Springs Senior Citizens. She was an avid bowler, and a WIBC League champion in 1962-63 and enjoyed taking bus trips. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Beam and Gladys Orner and six brothers, Glenn L. Kime, Guy E. Kime, Earl L. Kime, Paul E. Kime, Ralph Kime and Clair R. Kime. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, August 7 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2780 Heidlersburg Road, Gettysburg with Reverend David Clark officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2780 Heidlersburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
