Myrtle Ann Cline, age 78 of Gardners, passed away peacefully January 1, 2024 at Paramount Senior Living. She was born September 24, 1945 in Hanover to the late Benjamin H. and Laura E. (Turner) Keplinger. Myrtle drove bus for ten years, was a CNA for 15 years and retired in 2011 from RiteAid in Mechanicsburg as a quality control representative. Myrtle was of the Lutheran faith, she loved her family and cooking.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, David L. Cline; daughter, Kristy Talhelm and husband, James of Gettysburg; son, Toby Cline and wife, Kimberly of Arendtsville; granddaughters & significant other, Emily Defriece and Zac Hartman, Kaylee Defriece and Jason Chronister and great-grandchildren, Peyton Hartman, Cole Chronister and Reed Hartman. Myrtle is also survived by her sister, Betty Beamer of New Oxford. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Craig Talhelm.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 8, 2024. Pastor Susan Scott will officiate. Myrtle will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Arendtsville.
