Nancy Ann Rouse Putt

Nancy Ann Rouse Putt, age 49 of Southampton Township, peacefully passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 at home. She was born Thursday, December 10, 1964 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the child of the late Gerald K. Rouse and Ann (Newberry) Rouse. Nancy enjoyed reading, gardening and was an active member of the two therapy dog groups in Chambersburg and Shippensburg. She loved meeting new people and loved to spend time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, William "Bill" Putt. She is also survived by a daughter, Meagan Rouse-Gainer (husband Allen) and step-grandson Jesse T. Langer, both of Shippensburg; brother, Gerald K. Rouse Jr.; her mother, Ann and her in-laws, Lester and Sylvia Putt of Boiling Springs. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 26 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg with Reverend Robert E. Putt officiating. The family will welcome friends from 12:30 until the time of the service. The family requests that you wear pink to the service.
