Obituary for Beverly Y. Wade

On Christmas Day 2017, Beverly (Greene) Wade, 67, lost a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends.

Beverly is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, Russell C. Wade. She is also survived by her much loved daughter, Shelly Wade Melchior and her husband Don of Tuscaloosa, AL. Also surviving are the four Melchior granddaughters that she adored and who adored her, Kailie, Emmy, Addie and Laney Grace all of Tuscaloosa, AL. Bev is also survived by her two brothers, Roger and Randy Greene of Glen Burnie, MD and a sister, Laurie (Greene) Bixler of Mechanicsburg, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby R. and Doris Greene who were lifelong residents of Pasadena, MD.

Although born in Greenville, SC, she lived most of her life in Pasadena, MD. She lived almost 50 years in the same house in Pasadena with her husband Russ. Bev and Russ retired and moved to Shippensburg, PA just over a year ago.

Bev was a most generous woman. She always made sure that others had what they needed even at the expense of her own needs. She never knew how her actions impacted all she knew, and how very loved and appreciated she was. Our world is a little less bright without her in it.

Cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive., Shippensburg, PA. Memorial services will be held at the discretion of the family.
