Patricia A. Adams

Patricia A. Adams, age 79 of Shippensburg, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her home. She was born Monday, October 16, 1933 in Carlisle, the daughter of the late Leana (Hancock) Warren. Patricia was a homemaker most of her life. She loved to collect dolls and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert L. Adams. She is also survived by a daughter, Barbara J. Killian of Newburg, a son, Timothy W. and wife Judy Adams of Shippensburg, a sister, Peggy Furry of Fayetteville; a brother, Samuel Hancock of Orrstown; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lee Adams, Jr., two sisters: Mary Thaler and Nancy Hancock, and four brothers: Robert Hancock, Wayne Hancock, Richard Hancock, and Roger Hancock. She was also predeceased by a grandson. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend William Kauffman officiating.
