Patricia Ann Barnes

Patricia Ann Barnes, age 76 of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg. She was born Saturday, November 14, 1942 in Frederick, MD, the daughter of the late Harry Wilson and Rosalie (Biddinger) and Harry Wilson Smith, Sr. Before her retirement, she worked for ten years as a cashier for McDonalds in Frederick. She was a member of Salvation Army in Chambersburg. In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed listening to music, watching western films and completing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn Abrecht (Larry) of Frederick, MD and Tina Bolden of Frederick, MD, four sons, Calvin Dutrow (Melissa) of Chambersburg, Frank Stone (Ruth) of Frederick, MD, David Stone (Deb) of Carrol County and Billy Hackey (Sheila) of Chicago, IL, sister, Sharon Martin (Bobby) of Brunswick, MD, three brothers, Pete Smith of Boonsboro, MD, Wayne Smith of Middletown, MD, Paul Smith of Baltimore, MD, Wilbur Smith and Allen Smith both of Frederick, MD and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Barnes, Sr., son, Donald Hackey, Jr., three sisters, Rebecca Russell, Joanne Osborn and Beverly Smith, two brothers, Harry Smith, Jr. and Jimmy Smith. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Private Memorial Services will be held at 12 PM on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, PA 17257, with Pastor Bruce Levy officiating. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the Barnes family has requested that memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
