Patrick E. Ott

Patrick E. Ott, age 53 of Shippensburg, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at his home. He was born Friday, September 19, 1958 in Chambersburg, the son of Garnet E. Ott of Shippensburg and Peggy L. (Keefer) and step-father Richard Rouzer of Shippensburg. Patrick graduated from Shippensburg High School in 1976. He was employed by Volvo Inc. for 36 years. He was marketing manager for about two years. He was a member of Hub City Club and American Legion Post 223 of Shippensburg. Pat enjoyed racing, working on and driving his cars, hunting and football, especially the Steelers, all with his son Cole. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his son, Cole E. Ott of Shippensburg. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 31 at Christ United Methodist Church, 47 East King Street, Shippensburg with Reverend Mike Weigel officiating. Following the memorial service, a time of fellowship will be held in the church social hall. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924 Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403.
