Patsy L. Wright

Patsy L. Wright, age 76 of Newburg, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Manor Care in Carlisle. She was born Tuesday, June 20, 1939 in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late Percy W. and Della R. (Fisher) Farner. In her earlier years, Patsy babysat in her home. She was a member of Minnequa Social Club. Going to yard sales, playing cards and bingo were on top of her list of favorite hobbies. She also loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She liked to watch the Baltimore Orioles and NASCAR races. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles L. Wright, Sr. She is also survived by, three daughters, Karen A. Weagley and husband Ronald of Newburg, Wanda K. and husband Gregory Carroll of Orrstown, Sondra L. Robinson and husband Scott of Shippensburg and son Charles L. Wright, Jr. and wife Linda of Flower Mound, TX, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Brian E. Wright, three sisters and five brothers. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 26 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend Derek Wadlington officiating. Interment will be in Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until time of services.
