Paul D. Mason, Sr.

Paul D. Mason, Sr., age 83 of Shippensburg, passed away October 11, 2024 at home. He was born December 9, 1940 in Newburg to the late Roy D. and Dora Mason. Paul was a US Army Veteran and loved to tinker around the house. He worked for various businesses including Hoffman Mills and liked to listen to church on the radio. His favorite was Rev. Jones from West Virginia.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Judy L. (Wright) Mason of Shippensburg; sons, Roy Denton Mason and wife, Wanda of Newburg and Paul D. Mason, Jr. of Florida; daughter, DiAnna Mason-Kurey and husband, John of Huntingdon and grandchildren, Jaime Mason, Michelle Dubbs, Brandon Thamez and Kristin Augustine. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and sisters, Gladys, Sally and Ednamae. Paul was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Mason, brothers, Sherman and Roy “Jack”; half-brother, Arthur and sister, Joyce.
