Paul E. Shultz, age 70 of Gettysburg, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital. He was born Wednesday, December 3, 1947 in Gettysburg, the son of the late Francis P. and Mary E. (Plank) Shultz. Paul was formerly employed as a truck driver by IFCO Pallet Co. in Biglerville for many years. He had also driven for H.C. Gabler in Aspers. He was a member of Ira E. Lady American Legion Post 262 in Biglerville, Fairfield AmVets and Moose of Gettysburg. He enjoyed his street rods and drag racing with his son. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth L. (Eller) Shultz. He is also survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Viersma of Gettysburg, Lisa E. Barr of Abbottstown, one son, Bradley L. Doss of Gettysburg, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, Michael Shultz of Gettysburg, William Shultz of Harrisburg, and Rick Allen Shultz, FL. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Kime and brother Gary Shultz. Cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville.
