Pauletta Turner, age 72, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Michaux Manor in Fayetteville, PA. She was born Tuesday, October 2, 1945 in Elkins, AR, a child of the late Thurman and Fern (King) Teague. She will see her parents again in heaven along with her devoted husband, John Turner, and five of her siblings. In her lifetime, Pauletta had lived in Arkansas, Oregon, Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia and Pennsylvania. Her many jobs included photo engraver for the Oregon Statesman newspaper and cafeteria staff for the Brevard County School District. She is survived by her children, Teague (Anthony) Hurkala of Gardners, PA, LeJohn Turner of Scottsmoor, FL, James L. (Julie) Turner of Dallas, GA, Charles (Jamie) Birkes of Scottsmoor, FL and Justin Turner of Scottsmoor, FL, eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Jan (Gene) Tonole of North Bend, OR, Patsy (Steve) Glenn, Bob Teague, and Rick (Nikki) Teague of Elkins, AR. Cremation services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg, PA. Services will be at a later date as arranged by her children. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make memorial contributions in Pauletta's name to your local Dachshund Rescue or local Hospice.
