Pearl I. Robinson

Pearl I.(Davidson) Robinson, age 93, of Walnut Bottom, died on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Forest Park Nursing Home, Carlisle.She was born onThursday, January 24, 1918 in Centerville, a daughter of the late John K. and Dora (Rife) Davidson. She was formerly employed by G.S. Electric in Carlisle for at least 10 years. She also had worked at the Newville Dress Factory and Carlisle Dress Factory. She was a member ofTrinity United Methodist Church in Walnut Bottom, South Newton Township Fire Company and a lifetime member of the Newville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband, John H. Robinson died in 1971. She is survived by two sons: Charles Jim and wife Clara Robinson of Carlisle,John H. and wife Delores Robinson, Jr. of Walnut Bottom; seven grandchildren: Tracy Reich, Robin Robinson, Dale Robinson, John Robinson III, Terry Robinson, David Robinson and Kevin Robinson; five great-grandchildren: Ashley Robinson, Drew Robinson, Paige Robinson, Morgan Reich, and Hayden Reich; and a dear friend, Coby (Colby) Ott.Pearl was preceded in death by her six sisters: Helen Brenizer, Emma Martin, Florence Eberhart, Nora Martin, Bertha Etter and Mary Stouffer, and her brother, James Davidson. Her sweet smile, generous heart and wonderful cooking will be greatly missed. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 15, at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. The Reverend Harold Bolyard will officiate. Interment will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 14, at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday, February 15, at 12:00 PM until time of service.
