Peggy Arlene Busey

Peggy Arlene Busey, age 71 of Shippensburg, passed away March 17, 2025 at home. She was born February 18, 1954 in Carlisle to the late William and Betty (Murterbaugh) Murtorff. Peggy was the widow of Robert Glenn Busey, Sr.

Peggy enjoyed diamond painting and loved listening to music, including country and western, bluegrass, some gospel and Christmas music. She loved spending time with the most important part of her life, her family.

She is survived by her children; Robert Glenn Busey, Jr. of Shippensburg, William Max Busey of St. Thomas and Peggy Sue Elsesser and husband, Chris of Shippensburg; grandchildren, Devin Elsesser, Jasmine Elsesser, Carter Busey and Alex Busey; sister, Marie Lynne Murtorff of Vermont and half-sisters, Nancy Rhodes of New York and Rosie Rogers of Vermont. Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, William Murtorff and step-daughter, Bobbie Jo Rowe.
