Phyllis L. Hershey

Phyllis L. Hershey, age 76 of Bendersville, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Transitions Health Care. She was born Sunday, May 10, 1942 in Gardners, the daughter of the late Robert and Marvel (McCauslin) Snyder. She graduated from York Springs High School in 1960. Phyllis was formerly employed by Knouse Foods for several years. She had also worked at McDonalds in Gettysburg. She was a member of Bendersville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Charles Hershey. She is also survived by one brother, Keith Snyder of Gardners and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Richard and Kenneth. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 26 at Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville with Reverend Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
